MOM and ME is a personal and intimate documentary about a young filmmaker coming of age in extraordinary circumstances. It follows the complicated relationship between director Lena Macdonald and her mother, who was once a filmmaker herself, but ended up homeless, crack-addicted and on the streets.

International Woman's Day is being recognized by the Zonta Club of KW with the showing of the film "Girl Rising".

"Girl Rising" tells the stories of nine girls from different parts of the world who face arranged marriages, child slavery and other heart breaking injustices. Despite these obstacles, these brave girls offer hope and inspiration. A video presentation from the film makers will follow the film along with a presentation from World Vision.
